Commission Six: Twins
Hello! Its a New Year and with 2012 comes a new commission. My Aunts neighbour, a wonderful woman, loved my christmas card so much that she commissioned me to design a further two dresses, of similar ilk, to hand in her spare bedroom.
This was the original card design that she liked.

And here are the two designs I produced for her.

She specified that she would like the two women facing one another and that they should be in purple’s to match the current decoration of the room. So I took the origional idea for the card, and just produced Two similar dresses (Which could appear in the same collection) and drew them facing each other.

1: The first dress has a draped bodice and ‘cold-sholder’ long sleeve, a ribbon belt and a draped skirt, over a full lace fish-tail skirt.

2: The second, similar in design and fabric, is a halter-neck draped top and bustle with short ‘cold-sholder’ sleeves and a full lace fish-tail skirt.
The usual materials, watercolour, pencil, black fine-liner, Tippex and ProMarker flesh-tone make up the two sketches. I kept the hair very simple, but not symmetrical or identical on both images.
Im so glad my cards created a few more commissions. If you are looking for a special gift, or just a piece of artwork, please don’t hesitate to contact me on josephlarkowsky@hotmail.co.uk, I will always respond and willing to satisfy.
